The Andes Range LTD. is a Tour Operator located in Quito, Ecuador. We are specialized in Ecotourism. This young company, member of the Japanese Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and the American Society of Travel Agents(ASTA) is composed of high level professionals knowing very well the Ecuadorian Amazon. Weather in Ecuador is difficult to describe and sometimes to predict because of its equatorial condition, of the maritime influences and its very large topographic variety (Cordillera). Actually, it is said that we can have the 4 seasons in one day. It is better to define the climate according to the geographical area than its season.
In general, it is cold and dry on the Sierra (Mountain Region), hot and wet in the Amazon and hot on the Coast. The Pacific Coast has an oscillating temperature between 23 and 30°. The Sierra (and the area of Austro) has temperatures between 9 and 16°. In the Amazon, the temperature goes from 20 and 32°. The Galapagos Islands have a moderate weather with temperatures varying between 18 and 30°.
Weather variety gives still more charming to Ecuador because it is possible to go to one zone to another according to our desires.
